TRES EFEMÉRIDES EN 2025.
200 AÑOS DE LA FOTOGRAFÍA, 130 AÑOS DEL CINE, 100 AÑOS DE LA TELEVISIÓN
En 2025 la fotografía cumple 200 años (1825-2025), el cine cumple 130 años (1895-2025) y la televisión cumple 100 años (1925-2025).
Las instituciones de las industrias culturales, y específicamente del sector audiovisual, los historiadores de la cultura, la comunicación, el cine, la fotografía y la televisión, deberíamos unir esfuerzos y celebrar estas tres grandes efemérides.
1. Aunque se cree que la primera fotografía conservada es de 1926 o inicios de 1927 (Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, Point de vue du Gras), sabemos por cartas de Niépce a su hermano que en 1825 realizó las tres primeras fotografías de la Historia, aunque no se conservan.
2. El cine nace en 1888 con el primer film, realizado por Le Prince (Roundhay Garden Scene, Leeds, 14 de octubre de 1888). Pero la primera proyección fue la de los Lumière el 28 de diciembre de 1898 en París y el cinematógrafo fue patentado meses antes, el 13 de febrero de 1895 en Francia. El cine cumple 130 años.
3. La televisión es un proceso que se inicia con Nipkow en 1884, pero la primera retransmisión televisiva la hace John Logie Baird en su laboratorio de Londres el 2 de octubre de 1925. Por tanto, la televisión cumple 100 años en 2025.

In 2025, photography will be 200 years old (1825-2025), cinema will be 130 years old (1895-2025) and television will be 100 years old (1925-2025). The institutions of the audiovisual sector should join forces and celebrate these three great anniversaries.
Although the first preserved photograph dates from 1926 or 1927 (Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, «Point de vue du Gras»), we know from Niépce’s letters to his brother that in 1825 he took the first three photographs in History, although they are not preserved.
2. Cinema was born in 1888 with the first film, made by Le Prince («Roundhay Garden Scene», Leeds, October 14, 1888). But the first projection was made by the Lumière family on December 28, 1898 in Paris and the cinematograph was patented on February 13, 1895 in France. The cinema is 130 years old.
